Map Kalumalu

After searching for several years for a suitable location for its new Advanced Technology Research Center, the University of Hawaii's Institute of Astronomy (UH IFA) procured a site for the facility in Kulamalu Town Center. Dowling Company is overseeing the $8.6 million development on a design/build basis. The 15,000- square-foot building on a 1.98-acre site will be replete with cutting edge technology and include MicroFab and optical labs. Supporting IFA's current Haleakala activities, the center will stimulate job creation on Maui.

This project was completed in July 2007.
