Waiehu Mauka Homestead

The Waiehu Mauka Homestead project will be comprised of approximately 343 single family turn-key homes and owner-builder lots, and an additional 55 rural half acre lots for the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands (DHHL) beneficiaries. 

Onsite and offsite infrastructure design work is set to commence in the second quarter of 2024 and assuming all regulatory approvals are obtained, onsite and offsite construction for the project is expected to begin in the middle of 2026. Dowling Company, Inc. anticipates the delivery of the first homes to occur in early 2029. DHHL is providing approximately $95 million of funding for acquisition of land and construction of the project infrastructure.
